Zipper,
You left us way too young. You were supposed to by our Zip-Zip for years to come.
How do we write a memorial that perfectly captures your... Love of squirrels (like OBSESSION), desire to eat truly whatever you were offering (if it had butter, double the yum), general attention to human emotion (when sick or sad, he knew just what to do), enjoyment of laying in the sun at all hours (even when it seemed just a tad too warm), and just one of the most unique, perfect, do-no-wrong cats we’ve ever met.
We'll never be okay without you, Zipper. We want another head boop, another cry for attention, another fry stolen from our plate, another prance across the floor when we come home, and just another day with the cat that made us feel like the luckiest person alive.
Thank you, Zipper. You were the best boy we've ever met. We love you more than words can express.
Find us again. We promise we won’t stop looking. I hope you're somewhere finally catching that squirrel.
