For five years, Wally has been a part of our family. He wasn’t “just a lizard.” He had his own little personality, his own quirks, and his own place in our home and in our hearts. The kids grew up with him, and he became one of those pets that you never imagine your family without.
Our house is going to feel a little different without him. There won’t be that familiar little face looking back at us, and honestly, I’m not ready for that.
