Niagara

How we met
My wife and I were on our way back from a road trip to Niagara Falls and we stopped at a rest area in the middle of nowhere in Northern New York. We were walking around stretching our legs and we heard a tiny mewing sound. Upon further investigation we found this tiny kitten hiding under a bush. We coaxed him out with a little food. He immediately started purring and we knew we couldn’t leave him. He road on my wife’s lap the rest of the way home.

What Niagara liked.
Niagara’s favourite things included being the center of attention no matter who was over or what was going on. Unlike cats I had growing up Niagara was not afraid of people coming over or anything else. He would also sit in the window and watch the birds outside and make these tiny little chirping sounds at them.

Niagara's legacy.
Niagara will be remembered for being the cat that acted more like a dog. He would hear me or my wife coming home from work and he would charge to the front door to great us as we walked in. Hitting the snooze button on your alarm was impossible with Niagara around because the second it would go off he would leap onto your chest and start purring in your face and head butting you. He was the greatest cat I have ever had and he will always be loved.
