Lucky Luciano Hallock was a fantastic companion, friend, and faithful family member. We are heartbroken but know he is at peace as he kept fighting till the end. We remember Brian being asked when we moved into our house if we could take in this dog, Lucky Luciano, since his owner had just passed from covid. We were reluctant with everything we had going on, but as soon as we saw him, it was love at first sight. He brought so much joy and love to our lives. He was always there to greet us when we came home, loved his car rides, and was the best watchdog even though he couldn’t see who was at the door due to becoming blind. He was extremely patient with Jacob, even when he was pulling on his hair. His favorite spot was sitting on the back porch, just listening to the world around him.
Our days will never be the same without you, Lucky Luciano. We will miss the sound of your little paws waking us up, your comforting presence on the bed, your anticipation for your treat every night after your shot, and your attentive head cranking when we were telling you a story. We will always remember the sight of you flinging your toys across the room and your unwavering support during our bad days. These memories we shared with you are now cherished treasures that we will hold dear forever.
Three years wasn’t enough with you. You will always be our Lou Monkey.
