Izzy
2009 - 2023
Today, July 17, 2023 at approximately 5:45pm, Izzy made her journey to the rainbow bridge. She has been ill for about 8 months, but thanks to steroids, was able to stay stable. Over this past weekend, she rapidly declined and I knew it was time. Izzy had a fighting spirit up till the very end. This cat has overcome so much in her approximate 14 year life. I unfortunately only had her for about 8 of those years…just wasn’t long enough. She overcame whatever caused her to chew herself open, she overcame liver disease and seizures.
She was definitely a spicy little girl, but that only made me love her more. Funny thing is though, she was also the most affectionate and snuggly cat I’ve ever had. I will definitely miss that. I will miss her purr and her snore. I will miss her little tiny almost whisper like meows. I will miss her growls.
This one really hit hard. In the end, I am at peace with the fact that she was ready (even though I was not).
I will miss you forever baby girl! Thank you for helping raise the babies. They will miss their Auntie Izzy. Rest easy my sweet girl! ❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔
