Abbey Glen Pet Memorial Park in Full Bloom

Abbey Glen's pristine pet cemetery and memorial park in Lafayette, New Jersey offers peaceful tranquility and ambiance for families and visitors throughout the year. We know that the families we serve consider the grounds an idyllic sanctuary for the memorialization of a beloved animal companion, so we work hard to consistently maintain its beauty.

"To say that Abbey Glen is a beautiful and peaceful setting with a lush green landscape and a staff so caring would be an understatement. Abbey Glen represents lasting memories – it is a forever place for a loving pet" said one Abbey Glen client from Nutley, New Jersey.

Just this past National Arbor Day we planted new trees across the property. It seemed like the perfect time to replace several trees that were damaged by harsh weather in recent years and add new color to other areas of across the 14-acres. Our team - Kevin, Sam, Eddie and Armando – worked tirelessly on this beautiful spring day, planting several different varieties of trees, including Franksred (Red Sunset) Maples, Kwanzan Cherry Oriental and Dogwood Kousa.

New Trees at Abbey Glen's Pet Cemetery

Designed in 1982 by the chief architect of the U.S. Veterans' Cemeteries, Abbey Glen is a source of pride and the deed for this land has been legally restricted to ensure it will never be used for anything outside of this final resting place.

Throughout the year, Abbey Glen welcomes visitors to bring their children and dogs, anytime between dawn and dusk, to walk the grounds and numerous trails and enjoy the scenic lookouts, statues, landscaping, trees and flowers.

Come visit and see why people throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania area choose to memorialize their pets at Abbey Glen
