Burial
Services
Nestled
on fourteen landscaped acres in northern New Jersey, Abbey Glen
Pet Memorial Park is a beautiful country setting for the aftercare
and memorialization
of
all beloved pets. When you experience the loss of your companion,
we will be there to help. Abbey Glen's deed has been permanently
restricted for use only as a pet cemetery. In addition,
an irrevocable trust and independent trustee have been established
to ensure the future of maintenance and preservation of the cemetery.
This means, the land is forever protected against foreclusure
or abandonment, and will never be used as anything other than
a dignified final resting place for animal companions.
Formal
Burial
Formal
burial is an option which is arranged for much in the same way
that you would arrange for the burial of a human member of the
family.
Typically,
you begin by deciding in which section of Abbey Glen you would
like
your
pet to be put to rest. In the Virtual
Tour section of our web site you will see depictions of
our various interment sections ranging from below ground interment
in our variety of lawn sections to above ground interment in one
of Abbey Glen's two mausoleums.
Once
a section of the park has been decided upon the next step is to
choose the type of casket and memorial marker for your pet. Caskets
come in a
variety
of sizes and styles and in a range of prices. Markers are also
available in a variety of materials and will of course display
your pet's name and your heart felt sentiment.
All arrangements can be made by your visiting the park and meeting
with us directly or by contacting us by telephone. With the help
of the information provided in this site and our discussing
arrangements over the phone, we can ensure all of the details
necessary to provide proper service for your pet. In either case,
you may opt to be present for the burial procedure which serves as
the most comforting way in which to say goodbye to a loyal friend
and know that your wishes have been followed to the "T".
